Human Resources Development and Cooperation at Henan University of Technology was launched in 2008 and is currently the sole national authorized implementer for Human Resources Development and Cooperation in Henan Province. Under the guidance of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China(MOFCOM), and with the support of the Foreign Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People's Government, Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, and Henan Provincial Department of Education, the university has achieved remarkable progress in human resources development and international cooperation.
Since 2016, the university's human resources development and international cooperation have entered a phase of rapid growth, gradually forging a "three-wheel-drive" model centered on grain, oil and food, Zhongyuan Martial Arts, and construction and transportation, which has propelled the high-speed advancement of multi-disciplinary training.
By the end of 2025, the university had hosted 160 online and offline human resources development and international cooperation programs, which have trained over 4,300 senior officials and technical experts in the food sector from 123 countries and regions across the globe, with instruction delivered in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Mongolian, Korean, and Arabic.
The university has signed a cooperation agreement with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to build a South-South cooperation platform, facilitating the development of a three-dimensional international human resources training model integrating in-China training, overseas training, and online training.
